Traffic enforcement to target NYPD vehicles for illegal parking

NYC - Mayor di Blasio reported the new law that all NYPD vehicles including private vehicles with department issued parking placards will be ticketed for parking in front of hydrants, fire lanes and other illegal designated slots. The law became effective on Monday, June 5. Also, double parking and parking on the sidewalks will be enforced regardless of the placards. di Blasio reported regardless, the city is enforcing all to follow rules and not just for civilians.
