Traffic alerts for Long Island beaches

All heading to Long Island beaches are faced with traffic nightmare. Robert Moses Causeway is delayed by hours southbound. Meadowbrook State Parkway southbound from Sunrise is gridlock. Wantagh State Parkway southbound is bumper to bumper to Jones Beach. Oak Beach is packed and people are joining neighbor beaches going northbound.
Update - Wantagh and Meadowbrook closed off to re-route traffic.
