To be or not to be to 100 million is not disclosed in NYC

NYC is so expensive to operate.

The NYC sanitation is on work around the clock since the major storm last weekend. The non-stop continues to use the city's budget including reserves for the emergency weather. There are no official details on how much was spent but many sanitation officials unofficially say it's over $100 million easily. This is due to a snow alert for the weekend with freezing temperature for all city agencies to be on alert. There are reports of snow also next weekend.

According to the sanitation dept officially, around 2,500 workers each shift continue to clear snow with all kinds of equipment including the new melt pool called hot tubs. If you want to see the new snow melt equipment in action, it's on Booth Memorial Avenue near 164th Street in Flushing next to the cemetery where the snow will go to heaven after melting. You can watch it from a distance.

Perfect location to remove snow with honor.

The main operation tasks are clearing snow from crosswalks, roads and ramps while collection will continue at a slower pace.
