Timetable for Creedmoor development

The dream project to convert one part of Creedmoor into affordable housing and other developments will break ground in 2027. The expected completion is around 2040.

The current phase of planning, discussion and due diligence is continuing without delays. Almost 60 acres from the original 48 slated of the total 125 which is around half of the area will be converted into apartments totalling 2,775 housing units.

A portion will be alloted for affordable housing, veterans and tenants which will be around 1,250 units.

Most of the buildings will be 6 to 8 stories high followed by 3 to4 stories and then semi detached homes which are for sale.

Along with housing, there will be retail stores, senior and community centers along with daycare facilities.

Despite the community objections, the project is moving forward making this project the third largest housing in the area with apartments after the North Shore Towers and Glen Oaks.
