Three pursuits so far from Jersey to LI

Early morning today around 4:30am, police were in Whitestone after a vehicle, Mercedes stolen refused to stop during a pursuit from the Bronx to the parkway. Chopper search tracked the vehicle leading to one perp in custody while another took off on foot.

Then around 11am, another pursuit from New Jersey was tracked to the Verrazzano Narrow Bridge where the vehicle was also stolen. The vehicle, Dodge Charger was found abandoned on the bridge during the chopper hovering above. No arrests reported.

Around 3pm, the Suffolk County police were in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle in Bay Shore. The pursuit started on the local parkway and ended by Candlewood Road where it was overturned after hitting a pole. The perp was taken into custody.
