Three people waiting for bus struck by vehicle on Jamaica Avenue

Police reported a 66 year old female driver jumped sidewalk on the corner of Jamaica Avenue and 188 Street north side and struck 3 people waiting for the bus after trying to beat red light while turning. One victim went under the vehicle. The driver remained on the scene but according to witness refused to cooperate pending lawyer. All three were taken to hospitals with one in critical condition. It happened around 4:30pm. Ongoing investigation.
