Three people arrested in New Hyde Park for theft at Sears

Christine Fernando, 28 of Queens, Bryan Sumira, 38 of Queens Village and Tenzon Salen, 28 of Bay Shore were arrested on Friday, January 12 around 4pm and charged with grand larceny using false information to make illegal purchases at Sears. Police were called to 1400 Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park when they were at the counter with items and presented identity of another person without the card by entering details. The manager became suspicious when the name of a 61 year old male was shown and called the victim who reportedly did not authorize to make transaction. Police were called and shortly, all three were arrested.
