Three female dead victims from the NHP vehicle accident identified

The NCPD released the names of three females died from the Saturday night vehicular accident in New Hyde Park. They are Tu Nguyen, 41 of North Carolina visiting Queens, Marlene Lu, 66 of Woodside and Ho Hua, 68 of also Woodside.

All three died at the scene after the impact.

The Sweet 16 event at the local inn was for the grand daughter, Marlene Lu. 

Three front passengers, 42 year old, 73 year old and 67 year old males are in the hospital.

The incident closed Jericho Turnpike by South 2nd Street on Saturday after 11:00pm for investigation.

Dante Lennon, 22, of Freeport was driving the Mercedes when it allegedly t-boned the car involving all 6 people.

Lennon had prior charge for speeding.

A Lincoln Town car with people were leaving the local catering hall and attempted to turn left on Jericho Turnpike going Queens bound. As he proceeded to to make the left turn, a 2012 Mercedes Benz traveling at a high rate of speed broadsided the Lincoln Continental. As a result of that collision, three females were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation continues.
