The next wave moving rounds in NYC

Time for a career change.

AI which is Artificial Intelligence and NYC is on path to lead the market after the Mayor announced the next growth along with the city's Economic Development Corporation. A report has been released showcasing office spaces around the city for tech companies who are moving into AI. Around 2 million square feet of office spaces is the goal.

The Mayor quoted, “The jobs of tomorrow are being created today in NYC, and artificial intelligence is key to making that happen. As we hit another all-time record high for jobs in our city, our administration is looking to the future and the future shows AI as the next emerging sector and source of job creation across our city, the country and the globe.”

This is a pet project announced by President Trump in collaboration with OpenAI which signed a lease to operate in Soho in the coming weeks.

More companies are in the process of signing up leases to operate AI in NYC including Queens.

It's the next tech disruptor in the making after bulletin boards which is the platform for Facebook and X.

It’s best to prepare for the change in technology soon to expand with jobs in the city. The following 15 jobs are heading to obsolete by 2035. Data entry, telemarketing, receptionist, customer service rep, bookkeeping, retail cashier, truck and taxi driver, proofreader, manufacturing, delivery drivers, security guards, market research, pharmacists, legal assistants and financial analysts according to global consulting firm, McKinsey.
