The next affordable housing wave called BESS in NYC

Remember the number 60. That's the number of battery storage locations that will be coming to NYC at certain locations unannounced. One major company is NineDot Energy which secured funding to build 28 BESS, the new word to remember for battery energy storage systems.

The zoning and other requirements have been approved quietly by the governor's office as part of an energy affordable program which means a portion of revenue generated from taxpayers will be allocated to the poor and disadvantaged communities with free services.

The number of BESS is expected to go over 100 including Queens and no one can object since it's a done deal.

According to AI, the definition of BESS is an advanced technology that stores electrical energy—typically from renewable sources like solar or the grid—in rechargeable batteries for later use. It acts as a crucial, fast-responding tool to stabilize grids, manage peak demand, provide backup power, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

This is part of the affordable housing with regulations which developers fund the far left to control NYC which is now on expansion mode.
