The first official gay bar opens in Queens

Started by two transgender women, Lidia Jimenez and Marilyn Sulay in Astoria called Elixir now cater to all LGBT community. Both owners claim it will take a while for the community to adapt but as long as they are not in violation of any laws, all is well.
