Tenants pushed out of Glen Oaks Village Co op with threats

A tenant living in Glen Oaks Village Co-op was harassed and assaulted along with threats by Robert Friedrich, the president of the board. According to police report, the victim, a single female living on 73rd and Langston Avenue was home on New Year's Day around 5:30pm when alerted police after Friedrich busted his way through the back door to the woman's bedroom.

It took police over an hour to arrive to the victim's help while Friedrich continued to make threats. When police arrived, both the woman's and Friedrich's statements were taken. Police replied its a landlord tenant matter and has to go to landlord tenant court to resolve the issue. The woman was advised to submit her statement in person to 105th Precinct. She obliged and gave her statement.

For the next 30 days of January, the woman was safe until Friedrich came back on 31st when the woman reported that Friedrich pushed her through the front door, slammed her against the wall in the apartment?s entryway and threw her to the floor. Calls to Friedrich replied with an email of looking into the matter. The woman has hired a lawyer and the next part will be posted tomorrow pending more information to be collected.
