Teen arrested for vehicle theft in Hicksville

Police arrested Anyelina Rodriguez, 16 of Amityville and charged with stolen auto and other violations. The incident happened on Monday, January 8 around 10:45pm. A passenger was also arrested and released. Police saw a vehicle, 2015 Nissan after it was reported stolen and followed on Route 106. After chase, both driver and passenger stopped the vehicle and took off on foot. Shortly, police arrested both on Route 106 and Salisbury Drive.
