Teen arrested for homicide in Oceanside pleaded not guilty and no bail

Tyler Flach, 18 after arraignment in court pleaded not guilty and ordered to held without bail for the death after the stabbing incident on Monday. Khaseen Morris, 16 died from the injuries. Flach is charged with second degree murder.

Edward Sapone is the attorney for Flach. He stated Flach is a student at Nassau Community College.

Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder stated the investigation is ongoing and possibly more people being charged.

This is not Flach's first arrest. On September 8, he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in Albany. In May 23, he was arrested for road rage and charged with assault. Those are still active cases.

If convicted, Flach will head to jail for 25 years.

Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas requested people to come forth with more evidence and if they saw anything.
