Swimmer died after rescue in Jones Beach

The NCPD reported a swimmer in distress at Jones Beach. The call came in at 3pm and water search began. After recovering the swimmer still breathing was transported to a local hospital in a chopper. As of 7pm, the Nassau County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the swimmer died.
