Suspects wanted for assaulting police officers in Queens

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of suspects wanted for assaulting police officers in Queens. The incident was reported on Monday around 4:30am at the local migrant shelter on 12th Street and 38th Avenue in Long Island City. This is at the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel where they were all staying funded by taxpayers with everything people can't afford.

Police were called to the shelter reporting a large group of disorderly conduct outside. This is when a confrontation resulted with migrants throwing various objects at police officers striking them and causing injuries.

The injured officers were taken to local hospitals with injuries.

The NYPD is working on the surveillance videos of more suspects involved.

The investigation continues.

Update - So far four suspects arrested, charged and released.
