Suspects on a bank robbery crime spree

The NYPD is searching for a group of suspects targeting seniors while using ATM machines by stealing card info. Queens reported 5 incidents where victims lost money while using the ATM.

Police stated almost $77,000 were stolen.

The suspects use a lady by tapping on the shoulder while using the ATM saying, you dropped some money. The victims pick up the money and the suspects scan their bank cards with pin numbers obtained by watching.

The suspects targeted 15 times in a one month span targeting seniors from 60 to 90s in CitiBank locations reporting 5 in Queens, 1 in Manhattan, 2 in the Bronx and 7 in Brooklyn.

Police are advising all to stay alert when using ATM machines.
