Suspect wanted for theft at Walmart in Valley Stream

Police reported a suspect walked out of Walmart in Valley Stream with a TV after not paying. When a worker confronted, the victim was slashed with a knife. The incident happened on Wednesday, January 10 around 8am. The victim did not suffer any injuries due to wearing a jacket which was ripped. Police described the suspect as male, black, around 6', 40 to 50, stocky build wearing a Walmart vest. Ongoing investigation.
