Suspect wanted for hit and run in Glen Oaks

Police are searching for a suspect wanted for striking two pedestrians on Little Neck Parkway before Union Turnpike and 75th Avenue.

After the incident, the suspect took off toward 80th Avenue and then tried to make a turn on 257 Street while hitting the front of home and then a tree before taking off toward south.

Two more vehicles were involved in the accident at the intersection of 257 Street and 80th Avenue who were leaving from the church.

The suspect drove onto Union Turnpike and took off toward east bound without stopping.

The two pedestrians suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals. It happened around afternoon time.

From a neighbor's surveillance, the vehicle was a black SUV either Acura or Honda. Ongoing investigation.
