Suspect wanted for crate detonation in Long Island

The SCPD reported a large crate with something inside was detonated causing a loud boom in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County. It happened around 11am on Sunday and was a mystery to all until further investigation results. Now police are seeking a boat operator last seen leaving from the premises after the crate was dropped. The crate, 2 feet by 4 feet wide, was located after almost an hour that caused the boom by Fox Island. Ongoing investigation.
