Suspect wanted for attempted robbery as fake cop in Corona

Police are searching for a suspect, male, black, 6'2", 300lbs and in the 20's to 30's wanted for impersonating as a police officer during attempted robbery. It happened on Thursday, January 18 around 2am at the the intersection of Corona Avenue and 103rd Street in Corona. The suspect approached a 23 year old male victim who was walking saying he is a cop and did a search. The perp took off after not finding any valuable items from the victim. Ongoing investigation.
