Suspect wanted for attempted bank robbery in Floral Park

Police were called to CitiBank at 215 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park reporting an attempted robbery. A male suspect, race not given, 20 to 25, about 5'6" with thin build walked into the bank on Monday, December 11 around 1pm and passed a note demanding money to the teller. The teller didn't comply and the perp walked out of the bank toward north Hinsdale Avenue without any cash. He was seen wearing a black hat, black sunglasses, black jacket with white shirt and red tie. So far the perp has not been found and the investigation is ongoing.
