Suspect wanted for assault incident in Whitestone

On Sunday afternoon around 3pm, police were called in the vicinity of Whitestone Expressway and Third Avenue in Whitestone reporting an assault.

Further investigation reported a victim, male, 68, was punched and then fell to the ground during a dispute.

Police stated the suspect, male, white, approached the victim and engaged in a verbal dispute. The suspect then punched the victim in the face resulting fall to the ground. Then the suspect took off on foot.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

So far no arrests.
