Suspect wanted for Hempstead homicide busted in Memphis

Andre Patton, 47 of Roosevelt was finally nabbed in Memphis, Tennessee. The arrest was confirmed by Nassau County police on Friday after he was placed in custody on May 2nd in Memphis. A press conference is scheduled for Saturday, May 5. On November 3rd, a deacon from halfway house was stabbed to death and police has been on manhunt for Patton from NYC to Long Island with no traces. The deacon was living at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Long Island which is a place to house homeless people.
