Suspect sought after pepper spraying man on NYC subway NYPD

Police are on the lookout for a woman who reportedly sprayed pepper spray on a man during a subway ride in New York City last week. The altercation took place on a northbound "L" train at the Halsey Street station around 5:50 p.m., according to police reports. Following a disagreement between the woman and a 68-year-old passenger, the suspect allegedly discharged pepper spray directly into the man’s face. She then fled the scene. The victim received treatment for minor injuries at the location.
