Suspect on the hunt after dragging cop with a vehicle in Queens Village

On Wednesday, September 20 around 6pm, two NYPD officers pulled over a vehicle on Hillside Avenue and 212th Street eastbound. When one of the officer approached the vehicle by foot, the driver took off dragging the officer to one block before freeing himself. The police officer has been identified as Jeffrey Roden who was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The suspect is still on the loose and the investigation is ongoing. Police are continuing on Hillside Avenue back and forth investigating as they have identified the suspect with the vehicle.
