Suspect on the chase in Hollis

Police are in pursuit of a suspect wanted for hit and run of Nassau County patrol vehicle with two officers inside. The perp stopped the vehicle on Jamaica Avenue and Francis Lewis Blvd and took off on foot. Chopper is hovering above. Both officers suffered minor injuries. The vehicle abandoned is Nissan. The suspect is wanted for robbery in Nassau County before taking off with the vehicle. Ongoing investigation.
