Suspect indicted for dumping the body in Bayside

The Queens DA's office confirmed of Goey Charles, 30 of Uniondale was indicted today of second degree homicide of Vanessa Pierre after his arraignment on Monday. The incident sparked outrage after a lifeless body of Pierre was found in Bayside in October. Pierre was also pregnant when found lying face down on Horace Harding Expressway by Bell Blvd. Authorities worked tirelessly to track down the suspect after surveillance video shows a white Dodge Challenger leaving the scene around 2:45am. Then 2 hours, coming back to the scene to dump the body. By 6am, a passerby alerted police. The grand jury released the true bill and issued an indictment. If convicted, he faces up to 25-years-to-life in prison.
