Suspect in custody for the incident at Kissena Park

The NYPD made arrest of a suspect in connection with the rape incident at Kissena Park this morning.

As soon as the Crime Stoppers Posters were released with actual pictures, floods of 911 calls came in until a clear message stated, "Come get him" from locals after attacking him and held until police arrived. This is outside the local deli on 108th Street near Horace Harding Expressway which is few miles from the park.

The suspect was living nearby at the migrant hotel and often hangs out at the deli where people recogonized him.

Police officials stated the suspect is a migrant from Ecuador who crossed the open border in 2021 and was living at the hotel with all the incentives paid by taxpayers.

The suspect is now at the local precinct and the Queens District Attorney will announce the charges.

The investigation continues.
