Suspect in custody after A train derailed in Manhattan

The MTA reported train suspended between West 50th Street and West 4th Street in Manhattan. Further investigation reported A train jumped tracks and hit into pylons by 14th Street. It happened around 8:30am. There were around 30 passengers on board with multiple injuries. NYPD updated one suspect is in custody after investigation of placing something over the track. The suspect is homeless, 30, male. Charges are pending. Sandbags were also seen by the tracks at Fulton Street. Ongoing investigation.
