Suspect charged and held on bail for forcible touching in Merrick

Today, the suspect after arrested has been charged with first-degree Attempted Sexual Abuse, two counts of first-degree Public Lewdness and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was apprehended after anonymous tips received from locals after recognizing him from the media. He is held on bail at $40,000 bond or $20,000 cash which has not been posted after retaining private attorney. The court also issued Temporary Order of Protection against the victims. If guilty, he is heading to jail for 7 years and will have to register as sex offender when released.
