Suspect busted for felony assault in Corona

Police arrested Christian Batista, 24 of Elmhurst and charged with felony assault. It happened on May 26 when a female victim was punched without provocation. The 75 year old female was walking on 57th Avenue and 97th Place in Corona when it happened. The victim fell to the ground and Batista walked away. On Monday, Batista was taken into custody after a tip was submitted to the police.
