Suspect arrested for the death of Cipriani chef in Elmhurst

Police arrested Angelina Barini, 41 of Queens after investigation leads to two other deaths from drug overdose. Barini of Queens is charged with drug possessions and distribution including fentanyl overdose. On July 4th, an overdose death reported at the Airway Inn at LaGuardia, July 11 reported another overdose death at the Crown Motor Inn in Woodside. Police confirmed the third death on August 21 in Kamway Lodge in Elmhurst is also drug related. The Cipriani chef who went missing was found in Kamway Lodge is that of Andrea Zamperoni, 33 of Italy. His body was found on the floor wrapped inside a blanket by police. A neighbor saw a naked woman and called 911. Further investigation reported Barini is a prostiture and Zamperoni paid her for sex according to court documents. She also stated Zamperoni took drugs and didn't wake up. The investigation continues.
