Suspect arrested for machete attack in Uniondale

Police arrested Pierre Fede, 29 of Hempstead and charged with robbery, assault and other charges. The incident happened on February 11 around 1am at the intersection of Duryea Avenue and Cedar Street in Uniondale. A 911 call leads police to the scene and arrested Fede while holding a machete. Police reported the victim, a 25 year old male was assaulted and robbed. The victim is in stable condition condition at a local hospital.
