Suspect arrested for church vandalism at Hollis

Police arrested Nasara Alnadrahi, 69 of Queens and charged with vandalism and criminal mischief.

She was arrested on September 22 around 10:30am without incident after investigation.

The first inciden was reported on September 10 at Shrine Church of St. Gerard Majella in Hollis around 4am. The second incident was reported on September 16 from 12:30am t 2am. The third incident on September 17 when a statue of Mary was knocked down.

The pastor of the church, Father Gannon announced to the church goers on Sunday of the arrest.

A fundraiser is planned to replace the damages.
