Supreme Court justice underway for a replacement

Yesterday, the honorable justice Ruth Ginsburg passed. From Flatbush, Brooklyn to US Supreme Court, a trial blazer in so many ways will have generations with positive impact on civil rights. May Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg rest in eternal peace. Justice Ginsburg dictated a statement to her granddaughter before her death: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed."

The current pick by President Trump is Judge Amy Coney Barrett followed by Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley. Cotton promised to overturn Roe vs Wade if elected. Cruz declined.

The process will be under US Senate and oversee by majority leader Mitch McConell.

One of the fact is that you do not have to be a lawyer to be a Supreme Court justice and once confirmed, a justice sits on the Supreme Court for life.
