Sunrise Highway in Long Island closed

Police are on the Sunrise Highway reporting a pedestrian hit by a vehicle died at the scene. This is by Monroe Drive in Lyndenhurst. ESU is working on the scene. Eastbound is closed at the moment. Police are diverting traffic.
