Streets naming announced in Queens

Union Turnpike and 254th Street will be co-named Jack M Friedman Way who was the executive director of Queens Chamber of Commerce. Bell Blvd and 40th Avenue intersection in Bayside will be co-named after Frank Skala, a civic activist. Northern Blvd between 94th and 111th Streets will be co-named as Helen Marshall Blvd who died last March. Marshall was the Queensboro President from 2002 to 2013. 120th Avenue and 224th Street intersection will be co-named Assemblywoman Barbara Clark Way of Queens Village. 66th Place between Cooper and Myrtle Avenue will be co-named for the late FDNY WIlliam Tolley Way who died last April after fire. A date for each ceremony has not been disclosed.
