Store worker slashed in Forest Hills

Police reported a worker at the store was slashed in the face after dispute. This is on 70-28 Austin Street in Forest Hills. The suspect is a male black wearing ski mask and a purple jacket, fled westbound on Austin Street. This is near the police station on Yellowstone Blvd. Reported it was attempted robbery. Ongoing investigation.
Update - The suspect is in custody identified as Johnny Aponte, 32. The female victim, 36 is in stable condition at a local hospital.
