Statewide DMV busted over 100 people for fake driver licenses

The NYS DMV made the announcement today that 102 people have been arrested and charged for fake driver's licenses to get a real one in the state.

The office announced the arrested people used out of state driver's fake licenses including Puerto Rico to avoid written and road tests.

The DMV will now use the latest technology to scan licenses from out of state for authenticity before issuing written or road tests statewide as of now.

The fine is felony charges within the state.
