State police investigating bomb threat at department of environmental conservation office in New Paltz

On November 4, 2024, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation notified the State Police that it received an emailed bomb threat targeting the DEC Region 3 office in New Paltz, NY.

Troopers conducted a thorough search of the building and did not find any explosive devices. The investigation into the threat is ongoing.
