State police investigate a fatal motorcycle collision in wayne county

On October 22, 2024, at approximately 4:51 p.m., troopers from SP Williamson responded to a motorcycle vs. truck fatal collision on Jeffrey Road near State Route 21 in the town of Palmyra.

A preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Chevy Silverado operated by Brian S. O’Connor, age 33, of Palmyra, NY, was traveling eastbound on Jeffrey Road and attempting to make a left turn when a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 62-year-old male, was westbound cresting a hill and struck the 2017 Chevy. The 62-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene. O’Connor was not injured.

This is an ongoing investigation.
