State police arrest Circleville man following child sexual abuse investigation

The New York State Police announce the arrest of Clayton M. Petersen, age 21, of Circleville, NY, following an investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse.

 Petersen was arrested and charged with two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child .

Petersen was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Richard Croughan in Orange County Court and was remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail. Petersen is a member of the Circleville Fire Department.
