State Police investigate a criminal mischief complaint

On August 9, 2025, members of the New York State Police arrested 23-year-old Colby M. Bush from Oswegatchie, NY, on charges of criminal tampering in the third degree and criminal mischief.

The arrest stemmed from a criminal mischief complaint received on August 8, 2025, at approximately 9:55 p.m. Responding Troopers went to State Route 3 in the town of Fine, where their investigation revealed that Bush had entered onto the property, turned off the power to the residence resulting the security footage to stop recording, and slashed the tires of the victim's vehicle.

Bush was arrested and subsequently processed.
