State Police arrest two and seize drugs following East Greenbush traffic stop

On January 3, 2026, State Police of Schodack arrested Brittany A. Alescio, 33, of Albany, NY, for

Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, a class “D” felony

Four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a class “D” felony

two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia, a class “D” felony

two violations of the public health law

Starr M. Myers, 29 of Albany, NY, was also arrested for:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, a class “D” felony

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, a class “D” felony

Driving While Impaired by Drugs and other vehicle and traffic law violations

On January 3, 2026, at about 10:55 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-90 in East Greenbush for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Myers was identified as the driver, and Alescio as the passenger. The investigation discovered felony weight drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and on Alescio.
