State Police arrest two and seize a handgun following an Albany traffic stop

On December 29, 2025, State Police arrested Kelsey Johnson, 33, of Albany, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd and vehicle and traffic law violations.

Nathan Moore, 55 of Albany, NY, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd.

On December 29, 2025, at about 10:49 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on Fourth Avenue in Albany for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Johnson was identified as the driver and Moore as the passenger. Further investigation discovered and seized an illegally possessed loaded handgun in the vehicle.
