State Police arrest a New Baltimore man following a victim being struck by a vehicle in Ravena

On April 12, 2026, State Police arrested Saul Stanley, 46, of New Baltimore for:

Attempted Assault 1st, a class “C” felony

Reckless Endangerment, 1st, a class “D” felony

Assault, 3rd, a class “A” misdemeanor

A vehicle and traffic law violation

On April 12, 2026, at about 11:55 a.m., troopers responded to the area of State Route 9W in Ravena for the report of a disturbance. The investigation determined Stanley was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim. Stanley reportedly got in his vehicle following the argument and drove his vehicle recklessly, allegedly intentionally striking the victim twice with his vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Stanley was located at his home, arrested, and transported to SP New Scotland for processing. He was then transported to the Albany County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
