State Police arrest Ellenville woman for stealing more than USD4400 from employer

On October 6, 2026, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Ellenville arrested Denah R. Stratton, age 35, of Ellenville, NY, and charged her with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony, and Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree, a class E felony.

The investigation determined that Stratton, an employee of Tops Friendly Market, stole approximately $4,456 from the business over the course of several months.
