State Police arrest Albany man following stolen vehicle investigation

On March 18, 2025, State Police of Latham, with the assistance of the New York City Police Department, arrested Patrick M. Aine, 25, of Albany, NY, for Grand Larceny in the third degree. 

On March 16, 2025, at about 11:10 a.m. Troopers received the report of a stolen vehicle. The investigation determined Aine allegedly stole the vehicle from Colonie, NY earlier that day.  The New York City Police Department located the vehicle being operated by Aine on E 5th Street in Brooklyn, NY, and stopped it.  Aine and two adult passengers were taken into custody for being in possession of the stolen vehicle, and the vehicle was seized.
