Starts Tuesday in Manhattan and soon in Queens

A new law is in effect where all buildings must have physical address shown in crystal clear format from the public view. It was introduced in 2014 by Gale Brewer, the current Manhattan Borough President and finally passed in February 2017. Brewer introduced the bill for FDNY, EMS and NYPD to identify the exact location to respond for calls. A date has not been announced for Queens.
